KDD 2015 conference

KDD 2015, the 21st conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining,  is a four-day conference that brings together researchers and practitioners from knowledge discovery, data mining, data analytics and big data. This year the conference gathers some of the best researchers to talk trends, challenges and solutions in these industries. The keynote speakers are:

• Ronny Kohavi, a Microsoft Distinguished Engineer and the General Manager for Microsoft’s Analysis and Experimentation team at Microsoft

• Hugh Durrant-Whyte, a Professor and ARC Federation Fellow at the University of Sydney, who was CEO of National ICT Australia (NICTA), and Director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems and of the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR).

• Daphne Koller, the President and Co-founder of Coursera, the leading platform that works with the best universities, connecting anyone around the world with the best education, for free

• Susan Athey, the Economics of Technology Professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
