As with many modern economies, Australia has seen a decline in her manufacturing base, which has been supplanted by the emergence of more knowledge intensive businesses. As a result, Australia’s economy is reliant on leveraging knowledge and has become a hot bed for Intellectual Capital and Knowledge Management research and practice. However, a continuing challenge is how to recognise and promote IC and KM in organisations and put the numerous frameworks and theories into to practice.
Therefore, in order to share our ideas and practices with the rest of the world we encourage academics, practitioners and educators to join us in sunny Sydney for what promises to be an educational and inspirational conference and build new collaborations downunder.
