GETEX Spring 2013
The Middle East has one of the fastest growing student populations heading towards undergraduate and post-graduate courses. The UAE in particular, has one of the highest application participation rates in the world, with thousands of secondary school graduates applying to both local and international college programmes.
In 2010-2011, 9,580 students from Middle East sat for the GMAT exams indicating an increasing number of students gearing towards higher education in regional as well as overseas based universities. Research suggests that as high as 95% of all girls and 80% of boys enrolled in the final year of a typical secondary school, apply for admission to a higher education institute. To cater to this growing demand, there is tremendous scope for higher education providers in the Middle East offering globally accepted degrees & certifications.
On the GETEX platform, educators have formed first-rate contacts with prospective students and have welcomed unprecedented conversion rates from meeting to application towards final enrollment, making the whole exercise a smart marketing & networking choice for domestic and international universities.
